    ​Position Overview
    KE&G Construction, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to Construct their Legacy in Tucson, Arizona. As a key leader, you will manage one or more commercial construction projects, overseeing the entire scope from estimating and pre-construction through closeout.  This position has the potential to create/lead their own team and build a commercial construction group.

    What You’ll Be Doing
    Project Management & Execution
    Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects (office buildings, retail, healthcare, education, hospitality, etc.), including those valued at $25M+
    Lead internal and external project teams, including superintendents, engineers, cost controllers, and estimators
    Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and work plans to ensure timely, on-budget delivery
    Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, architects, engineers, public officials, and subcontractors
    Lead negotiations for subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, change orders, and payment applications
    Estimating & Preconstruction
    Lead and review all project estimates, bid packages, and RFPs to ensure accuracy and scope alignment.  Evaluate subcontractor quotes, qualifications, and risk
    Conduct quantity take-offs and review designs for constructability and budget alignment
    Leadership & Mentorship
    Train, develop, and mentor project engineers, assistant estimators, and other team members
    Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture

    Requirements
    Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or 10+ years equivalent experience)
    Minimum of 7 years of commercial construction project management experience
    Proven experience with large-scale commercial projects ($10M–$25M+)
    Proficiency in project management software: Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    Physical Demands & Work Environment
    Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk/hear, and operate computers
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate active construction sites
    Work both in office and field environments; outdoors in varied weather conditions
    Exposure to dust, machinery, noise, uneven terrain, and site-related conditions
    Occasional extended hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines
