At KE&G, employee ownership is about more than having a stake in the company. It’s about taking ownership of the work we do, supporting the people around us, and finding ways to make KE&G stronger every day.

The Excelling Employee Owner Program was created to recognize the people who demonstrate that mindset through their actions. Throughout 2024, employee owners across KE&G were recognized for exceptional performance, teamwork, leadership, safety, quality, and commitment to our clients.

What It Means to Be an Excelling Employee Owner

Great work happens across every level of our organization—from the field to the office and everywhere in between. That’s why the Excelling Employee Owner Program is open to employees across departments and positions.

Recipients are recognized for demonstrating qualities that reflect the culture we want to continue building at KE&G, including:

Recognition That Starts With Our People

One of the most meaningful parts of the program is that recognition can come from the people who see great work happening every day.

Employee owners can nominate their peers, while supervisors and managers can also recommend individuals who demonstrate exceptional effort and dedication. Nominations are reviewed quarterly by a committee of leaders representing different areas of the company, with recipients selected based on the program criteria.

That process helps shine a light on contributions that might otherwise happen quietly—from someone stepping up to solve a problem to a teammate consistently setting the standard for safety, quality, or collaboration.
