This project is part of KE&G's heavy-civil and site work portfolio across the Southwest, delivered by an employee-owned crew that self-performs the majority of the work. From the first survey stake to final restoration, our team managed the schedule, quality, and safety of the site in-house.
Project Overview
The work began with careful site preparation: clearing, grading, and stabilizing the subgrade so every layer above it had a solid foundation. Our crews balanced earthwork on site wherever possible to reduce haul trips and keep the surrounding roads clean for neighbors and commuters.
Scope of Work
- Site clearing, grading, and subgrade stabilization
- Aggregate base placement and compaction
- Asphalt paving and finish surfacing
- Concrete curb, gutter, and accessible pedestrian ramps
- Drainage improvements and erosion control
- Pavement markings, signage, and final site restoration
Our Approach
Because much of our work runs through active corridors and occupied neighborhoods, phasing and communication drive every plan. We sequence closures to keep access open, coordinate with stakeholders ahead of each milestone, and stage materials to limit disruption. Self-performing the earthwork, concrete, and paving lets us hold the schedule and keep quality under our own control from start to finish.
