This project was to install a new 14,000 LF HDPE sulfide solution sump drain into the bottom of an open pit. Pipe sizes ranged from 30” to 24”. The pipeline included buried haul road crossings, stainless steel pipe fittings, and air release valves. Heavy coordination between our crews and mine operations was essential in order to efficiently plan our work around haulage and other activities. This was a challenging project, but our team provided effective and timely solutions resulting in a very successful project.
