Escalante Reservoir Rehabilitation

This 10-million-gallon reservoir had a very similar scope to the SHPS Forebay project. It required demolition of the existing roof and installation of a new standing seam aluminum roof, coating of exposed concrete, and installation of a new CSPE liner system. Approximately 50 tons of new steel framing was also installed to meet current structural code requirements. Additional ventilation, access hatches, and mixing equipment were incorporated into the design to improve water quality and operations.

The site posed unique challenges, with limited access and residents in close proximity. The project also required temporary storage tanks to maintain the service the two booster stations provided while the reservoir was under construction.
